Child Care Financial Assistance
Massachusetts child care financial assistance programs (CCFA) can help you pay for child care and out-of-school time programs.
Community Teamwork
Community Teamwork was established in 1965 as part of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s War on Poverty and the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964. Today, Community Teamwork’s mission is much the same as it was in 1965. As Greater Lowell’s Community Action Agency, we mobilize resources for low-income people, providing opportunities for them to achieve stability, self-sufficiency and have an active voice and participation in the decisions that affect their lives
Money Fit
Money Fit is a nonprofit credit card debt relief program and financial education service offered by a 501(c)3 nonprofit credit counseling agency, Debt Reduction Services, Inc. Money Fit also assists consumers in repaying their payday loans, collection accounts, medical bills, and other unsecured debts.
The Money Fit debt relief program has helped tens of thousands of consumers over the decades to regain control of their finances, repay 100% of their debt, establish practical household budgets, and find financial peace of mind.
Senior Center
Wilmington Department of Elderly Services is committed to continuously advocating, promoting and providing services to Wilmington Citizens 60 and over. These services contribute to the well-being of our seniors in the following ways:
- Information and Referral
- Care Planning and Management
- Health and Wellness Services
- Transportation Service
- Educational Programs
- Counseling and Family Support~Services
- Financial and Health Insurance Counseling
- Medical Advocacy
The center has an environment that is not only inviting, but also safe and enjoyable for elderly residents to be able to communicate with their peers and participate in many daily classes and activities.
SNAP
SNAP benefits include:
- Monthly funds on an EBT card to buy food
- $40, $60 or $80 a month put back on your EBT card when you use SNAP to buy local produce via the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP)
- SNAP Path to Work free education and training opportunities
- Free nutrition education classes and resources
- Connections to other kinds of help, like utility discounts, free school meals and discounted admissions to many Commonwealth museums and cultural institutions via EBT Card to Culture
WIC
WIC is a nutrition program that provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and other services, free of charge, to Massachusetts families who qualify.
Wilmington Food Pantry
The WCF services a pantry supplying food products on a bimonthly basis to Wilmington, MA residents in need. If you are experiencing food-insecurity and you need help–you are welcome.
Our food pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. You will need to fill out an application (on-site) at the pantry.
