Welcome to WML’s StoryWalk® at Rotary Park funded by the Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library 2021 Annual Appeal.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. StoryWalks® are now installed in all 50 states, supporting literacy, health and fitness.
As you walk along the path, each numbered sign contains the page from a book. Enjoy reading and following the story, beginning at the playground, circling the pond, and ending on the opposite side of the field. Please feel free to take photos and share your experience on by tagging us on social media @wilmlibrary or email your photos to us at kids@wilmlibrary.org.
We hope you enjoy the stories posted at the StoryWalk® at Rotary Park. Library staff will be changing out the book every so often so please come back soon for another walk around the park!
Our newest Storywalk® book is The Ugly Vegetables by Grace Lin.
A little girl thinks her mother’s garden is the ugliest in the neighborhood until she discovers that flowers might look and smell pretty but Chinese vegetable soup smells best of all. Includes a recipe to try at home!
