Public Computers

  • All public computers in the library have internet access and Microsoft Office software.
  • Patrons may use the computers for a maximum of three hours per day.
  • Computers automatically shut down 10 minutes before closing.
  • Computers users are expected to comply with the library’s Computer Policy.

WiFi

  • Free wireless internet is available throughout the library.
  • The wireless network is named “WilmLibrary” and does not require a password.
  • Wireless users are expected to abide by the library’s Computer Policy.

Print from Your Device

If you follow the steps below and run into anything, please call the library, 978-658-2967, and let them know.

Notes Before You Start

  • The system cannot yet handle emails. They should be forwarded to wmlmeets@gmail.com
  • The system cannot print password protected files.
  • Currently supported file types:
    .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .tiff, .doc, .docx, .pub, .rtf, .htm, .txt, .html, .xlsx, .xls, .pptx, .ppt, .odt, .xps, .ods, .odp

1.) Send the Job

Go to https://bit.ly/wmlprint and upload the file(s) you want to print. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

Please remember to use your last name for your print job.

2.) Release the Job

  1. Go to the coinbox, tap Print on the screen
  2. Type your card number or last name (depending on which you used when you submitted the job)_
  3. Use coins, bills, or card to pay for the job
    • There’s a $10 max for cash and a $5 max for cards. If you need to print more than that split print jobs up.
  4. Tap Print on the screen

Printing, Photocopying & Scanning

The library has a public Ricoh copier that can be used for printing, photocopying and scanning. Coinbox takes bills, coins, cards, and even Apple Pay. Costs are:

  • Black & white printing – $.15 per page
  • Color printing -$.30 per page.
  • No charge for scanning.

Faxing

We have a fax machine for patron use free of charge.

3D Printer

  • The library has 3D printer that can make simple three dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital file.
  • Please review the 3D printer policy before filling out the reservation form to book time.

Digitization Services

VHS Digitization

  • The library has Elgato Video Capture software that enables us to convert your VHS Tapes. Please note we are unable to digitize copyrighted material. This includes Movies/TV Shows you either purchased and recorded from TV.
  • The formats we can handle are full-sized VHS, VHS-C, 8 MM, and MiniDV tapes
  • To take advantage of this service, you can bring two tapes at a time and either a DVD for each tape or a single USB drive.
VHS Tape

Photos and Slides Digitization

  • The library has an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner. We can digitize photos, projector slides, and negatives.
  • To take advantage of this service bring the material and a USB drive.

Cassette Digitization

  • The library has Audacity software that enables us to convert your Cassettes.
  • Please note we are unable to digitize copyrighted material. This includes albums you either purchased and recorded from the radio. This is meant for preservation purposes.
  • The process does not break down the album into individual tracks. It will produce two tracks, side A and side B.
  • To take advantage of this service, please drop off a blank CD for each cassette or a USB Drive.

8mm and Super 8 Film Reel Digitization

  • The library has a Wolverine MovieMaker MM100 Scanner. We can digitize 8mm and Super 8 Films. Please note that the scanner doesn’t capture sound but the majority of reels do not have sound so it won’t matter in most cases.
  • To take advantage of this service bring the material and a USB drive.
