The “Good Guy” award is given annually to an outstanding citizen, male or female, who lives in the community and gives of himself or herself to make the community a better place in which to live. Politicians are not eligible for this award.

The Wilmington Memorial Library allows non-profit groups to reserve a library-provided collection box for donated goods for a period of time not to exceed four weeks.
