The Wilmington Memorial Library recognizes that volunteers are a valuable resource for the library.  Adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and may need a CORI check prior to beginning volunteer work at the library.

Friends of the Library Book Store Next Door Volunteers

Volunteers who work at the Friends of the Library Book Store Next Door are working for the Friends. Book Store Next Door Volunteer applications are processed by the Book Store Volunteer Coordinator.

Homebound Delivery Volunteers

The Wilmington Memorial Library works with Friends of the Library volunteers to provide homebound delivery service. The Homebound Delivery Coordinator reviews and processes the Homebound Delivery Volunteer applications. Prospective volunteers must agree to a CORI check.

Skillshare

Are you skilled at gardening, canning, documentary making, fishing, bike maintenance or do you have special knowledge you are willing to share?  If so submit an Skillshare application to lead a workshop.  Skillshare brings together people willing to share their special knowledge and skills related to their hobbies or crafts with others through library supported workshops.

 

Teen Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or entering the 9th grade.
