
Teen Summer Reading Program : Go Green! Renew--Reread--Return! Wilmington teens are going green this summer, focusing on renewable resources and materials. Teens are invited to pick up their program materials starting June 16, in the library or online at www.ReadsinMA.org/wilmington.
Teen Visual Literacy Program Series: Everywhere you look, you're surrounded by images: advertisements, street signs, even product logos. What do all these images mean? Can pictures tell stories or convey information that words can't? What are all the images really saying? And how much do you really know about it? Be a part of our Visual Literacy program series this spring and find answers to all these questions and more!
Teen Movie Night: For students in grades 6-12. Come watch a free movie with your friends, and enjoy free popcorn and drinks to go with it! Movies and dates will vary; check our calendar of events or stop in for more details.
Teen Fantasy Gaming Group: For students in grades 6-12. Drop in to play popular fantasy role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons or Magic: The Gathering on the second Tuesday of each month from 3-5 pm. Beginners through advanced players, ages 12 and older, are welcome. We'll provide the snacks.
Teen Advisory Group: For students in grades 6-12. Brainstorm for library activities, suggest items that should be in the collection, and generally talk about what the library is doing right and what needs to be changed. Active participants qualify for volunteer credit for National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society, and other activities! Drop in on the last Wednesday of each month from 3:30-4:30 to participate.
Teen Book Discussion: For students in grades 6-12. Pick up a copy of a great book, and come back to talk about it with other teens. Book discussion group usually meets on the second Thursday of each month. Check the Calendar of Events for upcoming titles.
