All About Bees: a year in the life of a honeybee colony and its beekeeper

Beekeeper Birgit Deweerd takesyou through the activities in and around a beehive, starting in January and ending in the fall with the honey harvest.Ms. Deweerd is a beekeeper in Bedford, MA. She became fascinated by beekeeping more than 25 years ago and ever since has been committed to expanding the understanding of, and the respect for, the importance of honeybees in our environment.  Registration begins August 20th.
