If you like to keep up with the newest titles but don't have time to check the teen shelves, check with the Teen Zone on GoodReads.com. In addition to listing all of the latest additions, we're tagging things with notes about formats (like which are audio books, graphic novels, etc) and even a tag for Librarian's Favorites, and providing reviews of some titles. Friend us to stay informed or comment on some of your own favorites, or just follow on your own.

Great books can get hidden by terrible covers. Now’s your chance to fix that. We’ll be putting the best covers on teen zone books, so check out the guidelines for entry at wilmlibrary.org/teens/bookcovers and submit your entry (or entries) by April 30.

So you've read all the teen books you've found on your own, and you're looking for suggestions? Brandy's spent the month updating the Recommended Reading pages on the Teen page. Sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, or realism, there's an updated list for you. (Mystery-lovers, please be patient; we're still working on your update!)

Also, a reminder: you don't have to be a teen to read teen books--there's plenty that will appeal to adults, too.

June is a military genius, having aced her exams and graduated early from the academy. Her first assignment: track down the elusive Day, the Republic's most-wanted criminal, the boy responsible for killing June's brother, the only family she had left. Day, in contrast, failed all his exams and has been living on the streets ever since, smuggling his gambling winnings to his brother, the only member of Day's family who knows he's still alive. June wants to avenge her brother's death; Day wants to buy the cure to the plague that's ripping through his family's neighborhood.
